3-Inch Touchscreen Display: Fixed 3.0-inch TFT LCD with touch input allows tap-to-focus and menu navigation without dedicated physical controls.
20x Optical Zoom Lens: Wide-to-telephoto zoom range makes the TZ31 well-suited for travel photography where carrying multiple lenses isn't practical.

Description — Panasonic DMC-TZ31
The Panasonic LUMIX TZ31 is a compact point-and-shoot built for travel and everyday use. Its 14MP sensor — a 1/2.3-inch type processed by the Venus Engine — captures stills at up to 4320x3240 pixels across five color profiles: Standard, Vivid, Natural, Black & White, and Sepia. For video, it reaches 1080p at up to 60fps (also supporting 50fps, 30fps, and 25fps) in 8-bit with a Standard color profile.
The Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) system tackles camera shake at the lens level, while the contrast detection autofocus system with 23 focus points and subject tracking keeps moving subjects locked in. The 3.0-inch TFT LCD touchscreen at 460,000 dots makes it easy to interact with menus and select focus points. A built-in pop-up flash covers Auto, On, Off, Red-eye reduction, and Slow Sync modes.
The body measures 105 x 59 x 28mm and weighs just 206g — easy to slip into a jacket pocket — and is constructed from a plastic/metal composite. Storage options include SD, SDHC, SDXC, and internal storage, with external connectivity via USB and Mini HDMI (Type C).
