Description — Panasonic DMC-ZS45
The Panasonic LUMIX ZS45 is a point-and-shoot compact camera built for straightforward, portable photography. Its 1/2.3-inch, 16MP sensor captures stills at up to 4608x3456 pixels, while Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) helps keep shots sharp when shooting handheld. Video recording is supported at up to 1080p at 30fps.
The camera's 3-inch LCD display with 460k-dot resolution provides a clear, responsive screen for framing and reviewing shots. Weighing just 223g and measuring 110.6 x 64.3 x 34.4 mm, the plastic-bodied ZS45 is genuinely compact enough for a jacket pocket. Built-in Wi-Fi enables wireless image sharing, and a Micro HDMI port allows direct connection to a TV or monitor.
The camera accepts SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards and runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery rated for approximately 350 shots per charge. The ISO range of 100–3200 covers a variety of lighting conditions, though the camera is best suited to daylight and well-lit environments. Note that there is no weather sealing, so protection from the elements should be considered during outdoor use.
