The Panasonic SV-AS30 is a point-and-shoot camera built around a 1/3-inch, 3.2MP sensor with a maximum still resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. Its standout physical characteristic is its slim profile β measuring 53.2 x 103.2 x 9.9 mm and weighing just 75g. The rear panel features a fixed 1.5-inch LCD with 76,800 dots of resolution for image review.
Focusing is manual only, with no autofocus system present. ISO sensitivity spans 100 to 400. The built-in flash supports four modes: auto, reduced red-eye, flash on, and flash off.
Video capture tops out at VGA resolution with selectable frame rates of 30fps, 15fps, 10fps, and 6fps. There is no image stabilization of any type. Storage is via SD card, and the camera connects to a computer over USB.
