Description — Pentax Q
The Pentax Q mirrorless camera packs a 12.4 MP sensor in a 1/2.3-inch format into a magnesium alloy body measuring just 98 x 57 x 31 mm and weighing 180g. It uses the Pentax Q lens mount and offers sensor-shift IBIS for in-body stabilization across compatible lenses. Autofocus is handled by a contrast-detection system with 25 focus points and Face Detection AF.
The ISO range spans 125 to 6400, and burst shooting is supported at up to 5 fps. The rear 3.0-inch fixed LCD with 460,000 dots is the sole framing option, as there is no viewfinder. A built-in P-TTL flash and standard ISO hot shoe provide versatile flash options.
Video records at up to 1080p / 30fps in 8-bit, with 25fps and 24fps also available. Both photo and video modes offer 11 color profiles, including Bleach Bypass, Reversal Film, Cross Processing, and Monochrome. Storage uses SD/SDHC/SDXC cards, and the D-LI68 battery is rated for approximately 230 shots per charge.
