A compact option for cinematographers, the Rokinon 50mm T1.3 lens is designed for APS-C and Four Thirds sensors, with provision for Fujifilm X-mount. It incorporates standard industry gears on its focus and iris rings. Featuring Ultra Multi-Coatings, this lens offers clear contrast and consistent color rendition across different units. It utilizes aspherical and extra low dispersion elements to reduce chromatic aberrations effectively. Both feet and meters are marked for focus measurements, accompanied by a smooth, de-clicked aperture control for seamless exposure transitions.

In the context of APS-C cameras, the lens offers a 31.7° angle of view. Its internal focus design maintains a static front element, facilitating the use of various cine accessories. It displays minimal chromatic distortion and offers a close focusing distance of nearly 12 inches from the subject. The detachable lens hood wards off lens flare without a matte box, while the front thread accepts 62mm filters.
