This optic features precision gearing on both focus and iris rings, consistent with other lenses in the Rokinon Cine DS lineup, facilitating swift lens changes when using follow focus systems. Dual-sided aperture and focus scales aid focus pullers.
With a 28.3° field of view, hybrid aspherical elements provide sharp imagery with minimal distortion. It has a close focusing distance of 3 feet 6 inches, and its detachable lens hood guards against flare during shoots without matte boxes. The 72mm threaded front allows for filter attachment.
