Description — Samsung Digimax 430
The Samsung Digimax 430 is a compact point-and-shoot camera centered on a 1/2.5-inch, 4MP sensor capable of capturing images at up to 2304x1728 pixels. Three compression modes — Super Fine, Fine, and Normal — let users balance image quality against storage space. Autofocus uses contrast detection with a single focus point, keeping the system simple and predictable for everyday subjects.
The ISO 100–400 range covers standard shooting conditions. For composition, users have both a 1.5-inch fixed LCD and an optical viewfinder at their disposal. A built-in flash handles indoor and dim-light situations.
Storage is handled by either SD or Memory Stick media, and the camera transfers files to a PC over USB. Two standard AA batteries keep it powered. Video recording is available at 640x480 resolution at 15fps.
The body measures 107x55x34mm and weighs 210g, making it genuinely pocketable. There is no image stabilization and no wireless connectivity.
