Description — Samsung Digimax S600
The Samsung Digimax S600 is a 6MP point-and-shoot camera built on a 1/2.5-inch sensor, capturing stills at up to 2816x2112 pixels. Its 2.4-inch TFT LCD with 112,000 dots of resolution serves as the primary framing and review screen. The built-in flash covers five modes — Auto, Auto & Red-Eye Reduction, Fill-in, Slow Sync, and Off — giving you solid flexibility for everyday shooting scenarios.
Autofocus uses contrast detection to lock onto subjects, and burst mode is available for sequences. On the video side, the camera records at up to 640x480 at 30fps in RGB color. Storage is handled via SD cards, and the camera connects to a computer over USB.
Running on 2x AA batteries, it sidesteps the need for proprietary charging solutions. At 178g and 96.8 x 61.8 x 32.8 mm, the S600 fits easily in a pocket or bag. The ISO range spans 50 to 400, and no image stabilization is present.
