Description — Samyang 50mm f/1.4 AF FE
The Samyang 50mm f/1.4 AF FE is a full-frame prime lens designed specifically for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. With a maximum aperture of f/1.4, it offers considerable light-gathering ability, making it well-suited for shooting in varied lighting conditions and enabling selective focus techniques through depth of field control. As a 50mm standard prime, it covers a focal length range that translates naturally across a broad range of photographic applications.
The lens features autofocus support alongside manual focus, giving photographers the flexibility to choose their preferred focusing method. A 67mm filter thread makes it straightforward to attach polarizers, ND filters, and other accessories from a widely available filter size. The lens weighs 585g, which is typical for a fast f/1.4 prime in this class.
Note that no image stabilization is present in this lens, so any stabilization needs to come from the camera body itself.
