Description — Sony DSC-H50
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H50 is a 9MP point-and-shoot camera featuring a 1/2.3-inch sensor processed by Sony's Bionz image processor. The camera's ISO 80–3200 range and optical image stabilization help handle a variety of shooting situations. A 3.0-inch tilting LCD with 230,000 dots of resolution makes low- and high-angle composition straightforward, while the electronic viewfinder offers an alternative when needed.
Autofocus uses contrast detection and face detection AF across 9 focus points. Six in-camera color profiles — Standard, Vivid, Portrait, Landscape, Sunset, and Night Scene — allow creative control at the time of capture. Burst shooting is available at 1.6fps, and video records at 30fps in 8-bit quality.
The built-in pop-up flash and standard ISO hot shoe provide flexible flash options. Storage is via Memory Stick PRO Duo or internal memory. The plastic body measures 116 x 81 x 86 mm and weighs 442g, with no weather sealing.
Battery life is rated at approximately 350 shots per charge on the NP-BG1 lithium-ion cell.
