The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-M2 is a point-and-shoot compact camera equipped with a 5MP sensor in a 1/2.5-inch format, capable of capturing stills at up to 2592x1944 pixels. The 2.5-inch TFT LCD with 123,000 dots handles all framing and playback duties. Autofocus relies on contrast detection across 5 focus points, keeping operation simple and intuitive.
The built-in pop-up flash supports Auto, On, Off, and Red-eye reduction modes. For video, the camera shoots up to VGA resolution at 30fps (or 16fps) in 8-bit color. ISO sensitivity spans 64 to 400, and the camera offers a burst mode at 1.1 fps.
