Description — Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P73
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P73 is a point-and-shoot compact camera powered by a 4MP sensor and Sony's 14-bit DXP (Digital EXtended Processor). It captures images at a maximum resolution of 2304x1728 pixels and offers three in-camera color profiles: Standard, Sepia, and Black & White. Autofocus uses a Contrast Detection system with 5 focus points, and manual focus is also selectable for greater control.
Framing is handled via a 1.5-inch TFT LCD at 67,000 dots or the optical tunnel viewfinder. The built-in flash supports Auto, On, Off, Slow Sync, and Red-eye reduction modes, with a range of 0.5–3.8 m at wide angle and 0.5–2.5 m at telephoto. ISO spans 100–400.
The camera supports burst shooting at 1.7 fps and video at 8fps, 16fps, or 30fps. Storage uses Memory Stick or Memory Stick PRO Duo cards, and the camera connects to a computer via USB. Power comes from 2x AA batteries (NiMH or Alkaline), rated for up to 200 shots (NiMH, CIPA).
