Description — Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 G
The Sony FE 35mm f/1.4 G is a prime lens built for Sony E mount full-frame mirrorless cameras, covering the standard focal length range with a fixed 35mm perspective. Its f/1.4 maximum aperture is the defining specification here — it provides meaningful control over depth of field and gives shooters flexibility in lower-light environments. The lens supports both autofocus and manual focus, offering adaptability across different shooting disciplines.
With a 67mm filter thread, accessory compatibility is straightforward and widely supported. At 524g, the lens has a solid, substantial feel without being excessively heavy for a fast full-frame prime. One notable spec to consider: image stabilization is listed as 'None', meaning stabilization is not built into the optic itself.
The Sony E mount interface ensures native compatibility with Sony's full-frame mirrorless lineup, eliminating the need for adapters and ensuring full electronic communication between lens and body.
