Description — Sony HDR-AS300
The Sony HDR-AS300 action camera pairs a 1/2.5-inch sensor with the BIONZ X image processor to deliver Full HD video recording at up to 1920x1080 60p. For slow-motion work, the camera supports 1280x720 at 120p and 800x480 at 240p. Still images are captured at up to 4608x2592 (12.0 MP) with burst shooting at up to 10 frames per second.
The built-in Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) helps reduce camera shake during active use. The ISO range runs from 50 to 3200, and both photo and video modes offer Standard, Underwater, and Vivid color profiles. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro HDMI output, USB, and a stereo mini-jack microphone input — a strong suite for an action camera.
The body weighs just 84 grams and measures 83.0x47.0x29.4mm, and is rated Water Resistant with full waterproofing available via the optional MPK-UWH1 housing. Storage is flexible, supporting microSD, microSDHC, microSDXC, and Memory Stick formats. The NP-BX1 battery is rated for up to 135 minutes at 1080/30p with Wi-Fi off.
