Description — Viltrox 24mm f/1.8
The Viltrox AF 24mm f/1.8 is a wide-angle prime lens built for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras with full-frame sensor coverage. At 24mm, it delivers a broad field of view ideal for landscapes, architecture, and street photography. The f/1.8 maximum aperture provides meaningful control over depth of field and performance in lower-light environments.
Tipping the scales at just 340g, it is an impressively portable lens for full-frame shooters who want a bright aperture without excessive weight. The lens supports both autofocus and manual focus, offering flexibility across different shooting scenarios. A 55mm filter thread makes accessory filters easy and affordable to source.
Note that there is no image stabilization included, so handheld shooting in challenging light conditions will require mindful technique or reliance on in-body stabilization from the camera. For Sony E-mount photographers seeking a lightweight, fast wide-angle prime, the Viltrox AF 24mm f/1.8 presents a well-defined and focused option.
