Description — Viltrox 28mm f/1.8
The Viltrox AF 28mm f/1.8 is a wide-angle prime lens built for Sony E mount mirrorless cameras with full-frame coverage. Its f/1.8 maximum aperture offers meaningful light-gathering capability for a lens in this focal length class. The fixed 28mm focal length places it firmly in the wide-angle range, well-suited for landscapes, architecture, environmental portraits, and street photography.
Focus options include both autofocus and manual focus, providing versatility across different shooting scenarios. At 367 grams, the lens is easy to carry for extended shoots without significant fatigue. The 55mm filter thread is a practical size that makes adding polarizers, ND filters, or other accessories straightforward.
One notable consideration is the absence of image stabilization, so steady technique or a stabilized camera body is advisable when shooting in challenging light conditions.
