Description — Z-Cam E2
The Z-Cam E2 cinema camera pairs a Type 4/3 (Micro Four Thirds) sensor at 10.28 MP with a Micro Four Thirds lens mount, fitting neatly into a compact aluminum body measuring 91.2 x 98.9 x 89.1 mm and weighing just 757g. Video capabilities include 4K maximum resolution, 10-bit color depth, and frame rates spanning 24fps to 240fps, with intermediate options at 25fps, 30fps, 50fps, 60fps, 120fps, and 160fps. The camera supports four color profiles — Rec.709, Z-Log2, FLAT, and HLG — providing strong flexibility for both delivery and post-production grading.
ISO sensitivity runs from 500 to 102400. Recording can be sent to CFast cards or an external SSD. The connectivity suite covers Full HDMI output, USB-C, 3.5mm stereo microphone and headphone jacks, and built-in Wi-Fi.
Autofocus uses Contrast Detection. Note that there is no image stabilization of any kind and no weather sealing, which should factor into shooting environment decisions.
