I purchased this lens as part of the kit to get the XT5 but I already have this lens. It has never been use. I did open the box to see if there was any damage due to shipping and that everything was there. This lens has been called the best kit lens ever and is very popular. I enjoyed using my other copy of this lens. The listed price for a new one is $699.
