Camera Overview — Sigma DP2x
Key Features — Sigma DP2x
APS-C Foveon X3 Sensor: A large-format sensor in a pocketable body captures more light and detail than the small sensors typical of compact cameras.
14MP TRUE II Processor: Sigma's TRUE II image processor handles RAW output and color rendering from the Foveon X3 sensor, outputting files at up to 2640x1760 pixels.
41mm f/2.8 Fixed Lens: The permanently attached 41mm equivalent lens suits everyday and street photography with a natural field of view.
ISO 50–3200 Range: A low base ISO of 50 supports shooting in bright conditions with wide apertures, while 3200 extends usability into dim environments.
Metal-Clad Body: The all-metal construction keeps the camera rigid and well-built at just 260g, making it pocketable without feeling cheap.
Hot Shoe Mount: A standard hot shoe accepts external flash units or an optional optical viewfinder accessory to compensate for the lack of a built-in viewfinder.
