4mm t/2.8 Custom Planetarium Converted to PL lens covers vertical s35 like Optex

This is a 1 of 1 lens that was converted at some time in the presumably distant past from a planetarium lens. It's wild. It covers s35 vertically so when I speed boosted it with the kipon 0.7 PL to PL adapter it almost still covers an s16 gate corner to corner. That speed boosted test in the photos was this lens mounted on an Arri 416. It does not have too long a flange so rear filtering / nd is possible. I did it once with drone filters. Worked great. This lens is a great companion to ultra16s for sharpness and color rendering. I let go of my Ultra16 Lenses, so I'm letting this weirdo go. Iris can be controlled inside the lens: 2.8 to 22. The lens has great close focus but no gear. focus mechanism is simple. I bet someone who wanted bad enough to control a focus pull on it could finagle it - But setting focus for close or far is quite easy and 99% of the time that's what you would want. Even at close focus you're not getting a lot of fall off at 4mm. I'll dig up footage shot on the lens. Feel free to make an offer. I noticed the Optex 4mm is currently selling at a whopping $11,000 so I figured I'd let the market decide the value of this oddball.

You can also get that HAL lens like effect if you are filming it on camera. And it's much less than the unicorn Nikon 14.3mm. And it's much better than the Nikon 8mm Fisheye.
