Description
Cosmetic condition is excellent, almost like new, only tiny scratches on tripod mounting base. Perfect sharpness on manual mode. The issue is with the AF motor, for lack of use it needs repair or replacement, it squeaks and is too slow. Here in Mexico Nikon is no longer providing that service, only in US and Japan apparently. [Found a new SWM motor for sale on eBay for $950]
The lens was only used on a couple of trips and then kept on its bag for years and that is how the motor stopped working correctly.
Includes cap, lens nylon hood and original backpack. The backpack build is still robust almost like new but the Nikon branding color is washed as can be seen on last image.
