Tamron introduces the compact and diversified 150-500mm f/5-6.7 Di III VXD zoom lens, specifically engineered for Nikon Z-mount mirrorless systems. This super-telephoto lens excels in capturing everything from panoramic landscapes to detailed wildlife shots, making it ideal for a broad range of outdoor photography including bird watching and sports events. When mounted on an APS-C format camera, it offers an extended equivalent focal length of 225-750mm. Constructed with 25 elements across 16 groups, the lens combats chromatic aberrations with specialized and hybrid aspherical elements. The cutting-edge VXD linear motor provides swift, precise focus adjustments, working synergistically with Sony Hybrid AF and Eye AF in applicable models. Achieve close-up shots with a minimal distance of 23.6 inches at the 150mm zoom position. Boasting an image stabilization feature, it aids in achieving sharp images at 500mm in handheld scenarios. Its rotating tripod mount is Arca-compatible and has loops for secure carrying straps, ensuring stability during fieldwork. The lens also features moisture-resistant construction and a fluorine-coated front element, offering resilience against challenging weather and environmental conditions.
