[EXC++] Nikon AF Nikkor 35-70mm f/2.8 D Zoom Lens - Constant f/2.8 - Macro - Complete Caps

Item Description: Up for sale is a legendary piece of Nikon professional glass: the AF Nikkor 35-70mm f/2.8 D. Before the 24-70mm era, this was Nikon's flagship standard zoom lens, renowned for its tank-like all-metal construction, outstanding optical sharpness, and rich color rendition.

Featuring a bright constant f/2.8 aperture throughout the zoom range, it delivers beautiful background blur (bokeh) and excellent low-light performance. It also features a dedicated Macro setting at 35mm, allowing for impressive close-up photography. As the desirable "D-Type" version, it provides distance information to the camera body for precise 3D Matrix metering and flash control.

Condition: The lens is in Superb / Excellent++ (EXC++) condition.

1. Optics: Clean and clear glass. No fungus, no separation, no heavy haze, and no scratches.
2. Body: Very clean with only minimal, light signs of gentle handling on the metal barrel.
3. Mechanics: The push-pull zoom slider is smooth with great resistance (no loose zoom creep). The focus ring turns smoothly, and the aperture blades are clean, snappy, and oil-free.

Functionality: Fully tested and 100% operational. Autofocus is fast and precise on all Nikon DSLRs and film bodies with a built-in focus motor. The macro engagement switch operates smoothly.
