The 509HD video head features an exclusive Manfrotto patent, Bridging Technology, which allows for greater load capacity as well as revolutionary performance levels. The "bridge" design also assists the PAN friction control to be more intuitive and easy to set while protecting against any knocks that may occur during the recording process. The 509HD's FDS (Fluid Drag System) is variable and directly controls action and resistance on both axes; the ergonomics of the controls have been noticeably improved to make use of the FDS even easier. The 536 video tripod is incredibly high and stable, has a great load capability and great maximum height with an ergonomic, easy-to-use and compact design.
