[MINT-] Nikon F-801s (N8008s) 35mm SLR Film Camera Body - Tested & Clean

Item Description: Up for sale is a pristine example of one of Nikon’s most legendary 35mm film SLRs: the Nikon F-801s (marketed as the N8008s in North America).

Renowned for its pro-grade build quality, incredible 1/8000s top shutter speed, fast 1/250s flash sync, Matrix and Spot metering, and one of the largest, brightest viewfinders ever produced by Nikon. The 's' version adds enhanced autofocus tracking algorithms and spot metering functionality over the original F-801. Powered by 4x standard AA batteries, it is widely considered one of the absolute best values in vintage 35mm film photography.

Condition Report:

1. Cosmetic Condition: Near-Mint / Pristine (MINT-). As shown in the photos, the body is extraordinarily clean. The finish is smooth, lettering is sharp, rubber grips are intact with no stickiness, and there are no crackings or heavy wear spots anywhere.
2. Viewfinder & Top LCD Screen: Crystal clear optical glass and spotless viewfinder prism. Top panel LCD is fully functional with crisp, clear segments and no bleed.
3. Battery Compartment: Completely clean with zero battery corrosion.

Functionality: Fully operational and dry-fire tested. The shutter fires crisply at all speeds up to 1/8000s, mirror action is prompt, internal film drive/advance operates smoothly, and AF motor engages properly.
