db120 or db150 or db154?

The db120 transponder is an all round transponder and lowest priced. Choose the db150 transponder if you need a low-weight module. E.g. if you have a small drone like the DJI mini. If you need a transponder with long battery life, choose the db154. It has a battery life over 22 hours.

DroneBeacon is a family of modules that are so-called direct or broadcast audited Remote ID long-range transponders (both FAA and EU). Audited RemoteID means that an external audit has confirmed that these modules are compliant with regulation in the USA and EU. This is one of the only manufacturers of RID modules that has went through third partd independent audits and passed certification with the FAA so you can use it with confidence! A manufacturer of RemoteID hardware can claim that it is compliant (self-declaration), but without a third party audit, there is limited assurance that this is indeed the case. This results in risks to operators (end-users) if the products they purchase are later found to be non-compliant. It could result in rescinding of an accepted compliant product (drone or RemoteID add-on). This can especially result in high risks for professional users that have a large drone fleet.
