This camera lens is in very good to excellent condition. The glass (both ends) is optically perfect. The focus operates smoothly. The exterior condition is good with signs of normal wear but no major defects. The original leather cap is in very good shape and fits well. The original leather case is delaminating and in poor shape, though the inside is vine. The leather is cracked and will rub off with physical agitation.

The lens was inherited from my father-in-law who bought a lot of the best and hardly ever used it. I believe this was bought for and taken on two safaris in Africa. And that's it. I'd guess a shutter count of 500-1000, as it was in the days of film.

I hope someone can appreciate this optically and mechanically perfect classic lens. It is said to have a beautiful spherical bokeh and be able to be focused down to 8m.
