Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM Contemporary Lens

The Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM for Canon EF offers an expansive telephoto zoom range in a compact build, ideal for various photography requirements. Incorporating advanced optics with one FLD and three SLD elements, this lens combats chromatic aberrations and promotes stunning image clarity and color replication, especially in bright conditions, thanks to its Super Multi-Layer Coating. It is equipped with a Hyper Sonic Motor for quick and quiet autofocus with an option for manual override. Additionally, its built-in Optical Stabilizer serves to reduce camera shake, enhancing image stabilization for handheld shots. A detachable rotating tripod collar is also part of the design, benefiting users during stationary shooting sessions.

I'm lightening my equipment load both figuratively and literally. There's a lot to like about this lens, but it's relatively heavy and I don't use it often enough to lug it around.

You can see from the attached pics there is some minor scuffing from normal use. Most scuffs you wouldn't notice without specifically looking and nothing that harms the operation. Please note the box, it was delivered to me that way. The packaging protected it as expected and the lens was fine so I didn't return it.

If this is the first time you're considering a Sigma lens on a Nikon DSLR F-mount you should be aware that it might need calibration to focus properly. It might not need it or your camera body might be able to calibrate it. If not, you would need a Sigma USB Dock (not included).

What IS included: Lens, tripod mount, case, caps, hood, protective ring, strap, manual, and additional protective 95mm UV filter. Basically everything that came with it plus the UV filter.

The "Key Features" I copied and pasted from online, please do your own research.

One unexpected plus from this lens is the close up capability. Not a true macro but I really like the results.
