This is a special version of this lens. Open box in that it was used one time only to test it. The last picture (The Moon) was shot with it using a 2X teleconverter.

Sony puts a useless foot on their telephoto lenses. Most of the world uses Arca Swiss compatible mounting rails and the stock lens foot does not provide this.

The foot was replaced with a Kirk Enterprise Solutions LP-68 to add ARCA clamping ability and a larger handle.

A custom Pelican Storm case was made for this lens by Mycasebuilder.com. Featuring water jet cut foam to securely cradle the lens. No pick-n-pluck junk here!

There is also a dessicant cartridge to keep the lens dry which can be rergenerated by placing in a 280 degree oven for 2 hours.
