Professional-grade zoom lens designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras, offering versatile 28-135mm focal range with constant f/4 aperture and advanced optical stabilization.

The Sony FE PZ 28-135mm F4 G OSS is a professional-grade zoom lens designed for full-frame E-mount cameras. It features a constant f/4 aperture, Optical SteadyShot stabilization, and a power zoom mechanism, making it ideal for video production and filmmaking.

The Sony FE PZ 28-135mm F4 G is a full-frame zoom lens built for **Sony E-mount** mirrorless cameras, spanning a **28–135mm** focal range classified as a standard zoom. The powered zoom mechanism sets this lens apart, providing smooth motorized zoom control that is particularly valuable in video production environments. A **constant f/4** maximum aperture ensures consistent exposure across the zoom range, while **optical image stabilization** adds an additional layer of shake compensation for both photo and video capture. Autofocus and manual focus are both supported, offering versatility across different shooting disciplines. The lens features a **95mm filter thread**, accommodating professional filter systems though requiring larger accessories. Weighing in at **1,215g**, the build is substantial, reflecting the demands of full-frame coverage across such a broad zoom range. Compatible exclusively with the **Sony E mount**, this lens is a considered choice for full-frame mirrorless shooters seeking a do-it-all zoom with powered operation.

Motorized zoom control enables smooth, consistent focal length changes during video recording without the jarring movements of manual zooming.

Powered Zoom Mechanism

Covers wide-angle through short telephoto in a single lens, making it a versatile all-in-one solution for run-and-gun video and studio production work.

28–135mm Focal Range

Exposure remains consistent throughout the entire zoom range, eliminating the need to adjust settings mid-shot when zooming.

Constant f/4 Aperture

Built-in OSS reduces camera shake across the full zoom range, complementing in-body stabilization on compatible Sony bodies.

Optical Image Stabilization

Designed for full-frame Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras with no vignetting, and also compatible with APS-C bodies in the Sony lineup.

Sony E-Mount, Full-Frame

Supports both AF and MF operation, giving shooters the flexibility to switch between run-and-gun autofocus and precise manual control as needed.

Autofocus & Manual Focus

Large front element accepts 95mm filters, so budgeting for compatible ND and polarizing filters is worth considering before purchase.

95mm Filter Thread

Built to Sony's G-series optical standards, balancing high resolving power with smooth rendering suited to professional video and photo use.

Sony G Lens Optics

At just over 1.2kg, this is a substantial lens best suited to gimbal, rig, or tripod-mounted workflows rather than extended handheld shooting.
