The Zeiss Milvus 15mm f/2.8 ZF.2 Lens is a high-performance wide-angle lens designed for Nikon F-mount cameras. It features exceptional optical quality, a robust build, and advanced coatings for superior image clarity and reduced aberrations. Ideal for landscape, architecture, and astrophotography.

Provides a 15mm focal length for expansive views, ideal for capturing wide landscapes and architectural scenes.

Wide-Angle Perspective

Features a maximum aperture of f/2.8, allowing for excellent low-light performance and depth of field control.

Fast Aperture

Offers precise focusing control, suitable for detailed and creative compositions.

Manual Focus Design

Incorporates special glass elements and coatings to minimize chromatic aberrations and enhance image quality.

Advanced Optical Design

The Zeiss Milvus 15mm f/2.8 ZF.2 is a **prime**, **full-frame** wide-angle lens designed specifically for **Nikon F-mount** DSLR cameras. Operating at a fixed **15mm** focal length with a maximum aperture of **f/2.8**, this lens is tailored for photographers who demand precise manual control over their focusing. The lens offers **manual focus only** — there is no autofocus mechanism — making it a deliberate tool for careful, considered shooting. Weighing **820g**, it has a substantial presence and build. The **95mm filter thread** is sized to match the wide front element, accepting large-format filters for creative or protective use. With **no image stabilization**, users should plan accordingly when shooting in low-light environments. As a full-frame lens on the Nikon F mount, it provides complete image circle coverage for both full-frame and APS-C Nikon DSLR bodies.

Fixed 15mm focal length provides an ultra-wide angle of view with no distortion compromises from zoom mechanics, covering the full image circle on full-frame Nikon F-mount bodies.

15mm Full-Frame Prime

A wide maximum aperture for a lens of this focal length, allowing for low-light shooting and a degree of background separation unusual at 15mm.

f/2.8 Maximum Aperture

Precision manual focus ring with de-clicked, smooth damping designed for photographers who require exact control over their focal plane.

Manual Focus Only

Zeiss's proprietary anti-reflective coating reduces flare and ghosting, maintaining contrast and color fidelity even when shooting into strong light sources.

Zeiss T* Coating

ZF.2 designation indicates full electronic communication with Nikon F-mount DSLRs, enabling EXIF data transfer and focus confirmation in the viewfinder.

Nikon F Mount (ZF.2)

The Milvus series features dust and moisture sealing throughout the barrel, making it suitable for shooting in challenging outdoor environments.

Weather-Sealed Construction

Large-diameter front thread accommodates 95mm filters, allowing use of graduated ND and polarizing filters with this ultra-wide lens.

95mm Filter Thread

Solid all-metal construction gives the lens a durable, professional feel balanced for use on full-frame DSLR bodies.

820g Robust Build

Based on Zeiss's Distagon retrofocus formula, the lens delivers controlled distortion and high corner-to-corner sharpness across the full frame.
